Error: "Init IID_IShieldCtrl FAILED" when double click UQuick Professional icon?

1. When you double click the UQuick Professional icon in the system tray, it tries to open UQuick Professional Application Console (shield.exe).


2. The Application Console connects to a COM object and the COM object connects the UQuick Professional kernel drivers to get snapshots information.


3. You get this error message if the COM object is not responding. It could be the system was busy, it didn't initialize the COM object properly. Wait for a few minutes and try to open UQuick Professional Application Console again. If you get the same error, reboot the computer and then try again. If the problem continues, please contact UQuick technical support ([email protected]) for assistance.
